The Lost Boot

I grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada  - which has some wicked snowstorms. When I was little and had to trudge through huge snow drifts to catch my school bus (uphill both ways of course) I would frequently lose my boot as I yanked my foot out of the wet snow. Many a days I would ride that school bus with one boot and one dripping wet sock. Sometimes the lost boot was never found. I would fantasize about where it disappeared to – maybe more tropical climates like Florida?.. or Toronto? I can now indulge and continue the game of where the lost boot went and share its adventures.

BOOT SIGHTING: 2/25/12

The boot was seen trudging through the snow outside a chalet in Skykomish, Washington.

A snowshoe would be great about now....

THE STORY OF THE LOST BOOT

The Boot is left behind in the snow - in Seattle these are as big as drifts get.
